PURC5000 Advanced control unit

I recently aquired an UHF station labelled PURC5000 and want to run the thing as an amateur UHF repeater.
I have swapped out the 900 Mhz link rcvr for a 400 Mhz Micor and that part appears to work.
The problem I have is that the Advanced control unit appears to be front panel programmable which is nice.
What I do not have is any information on how to go about it.
So far I have found that I can enter the new Xmt frequency and have it stored by toggling the #1 dipswitch on the control board.
Is there any wizard out there who can steer me in the direction of the necessary info about the rest of the programming?
The model numbers I find on the thing are as follows;
Backplane motherboard 84D85144U01
Control board TRN7337D12
Audio board TRN7693B07

The station model is C44JQB1101A
