What radios do you own?: XTS3000/astro spectra/

on the regular HT1250 you can use MDC1200 on all your conventional channels, but on a HT1250 LS model, MDC1200 is only useable in the trunked side, is there a way to get the HT1250LS portable to do MDC1200 on its conventional channels?

Unfortunately not, the only way to make to get MDC1200 to work on a conventional channel is to add an aftermarket MDC1200 encoder to the radio.
