MTX900 and MTX838 Antenna Part Numbers?

Post by zs6hz »

Good morning,

I'm in South Africa and I have a client who is looking for replacement antennas for their MTX-900 and MTX-838 VHF (146-174MHz) radios. The MTX series was never sold into this region (I think my client originally bought the equipment from the US), so the local Motorola guys don't have the part numbers of these antennas.

Can anyone assist me with some part numbers please? If I have the part number I will be able to order replacements from Motorola.

Thanks in anticpation,

Marc

Marc,
They are Jedi radios, and take the same antennas as the Jedi radios.
Look on the Jedi page for the wideband VHF antenna, or one in the correct range of frequencies used.

Thanks for the info Will.

Jedi radios? I didn't realise that the big M made radios for Luke Skywalker

The Jedi range was never released in our market either. I'll have a look at the Jedi pages for the info.

May the force be with you
