Camera built into a speaker mic

Has anyone had any experience with these?

Video camera built into the speaker mic for a radio. Built in battery. 3-hours recording (at what quality?)

They are terrible, a couple of customers demo'd them and they are too heavy, the audio pickup is extremely poor, and the video quality is not what you'd expect in a $700 piece of equipment.

Good idea though, on paper, and would be good in the field if they worked out all of the kinks...

A buddy of mine was issued one of these. I asked him about it a while ago. He thought it was cool at first but then after some use with it, he decided it was a bad idea. He said to get any decent video while wearing it, you have to position yourself in a way that could make the wearer vulnerable should things go bad.
