Hello all,
A quick question here. I put together two CDM750 Uhf radios and a rick through the 16 pin connectors. They are operating on a 12.5 channel, and I have the dip switches set to the manual recommendations. I raised the audio all the way it could go with the pot inside the rick, however the audio dev is still low, about 2.0 khz.
My question is are there any considerations in using the rick in a 12.5 set up?
Any tricks on getting this to fly, my rick manual is from gm300/maxtrac days, and does not include CDM's or 12.5 set-up for that matter.

Is compression turned on in the advanced tab on the channel info?
This will lower the deviation level to an extreme level. Also, make sure the TX and RX audio pots are set correctly. Also, where are you getting your audio for RX from, pin 2 or discriminator? if from pin 2 then you may have to turn the volume up on the RX mobile to have enough audio retransmit on the TX radio

If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.
