LCS2000 Channel Readout

Post by w1ksz »

I set up the radio for 15 conventional channels, however when I step through the channels I don't get the channel numbers above channel 10.
I get some letters and symbols.
I must not have set some toggle in the programming (or something). Any thoughts what I can do ??

Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ

Nope, that's how it is...you get the hex equivalent on the display...0A=10, 0B=11, etc.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Now that's the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time, even for Motorola !!
What was their thinking to do such a thing ??
