MTS 2000

Post by fde302 »

I have an MTS2000 I Had to make a frequency change to it so I read the radio with the same dos RSS that I have used with this radio previously with no problem made my change and did the write to it and no problem. I then realized I forgot the pl so no problem did the same thing and again made my change and did the write to it no problem right, WRONG. After the write to the radio it resets to self test and stays that way no matter what I do. I can read it and write to it but thats it the rss says it has read the radio and programmed it successfully but the radio is stuck in self test. Any help out there or did it become a brick. Thanks

Well after screwing around with this problem for a while I found and old codeplug for this radio I had. I just wrote to it with the old codeplug and presto NO more self test. It now works but I have to manually enter all the info again but that's the breaks. Thanks everyone again.

That is why WE always save the original Codeplug before we do any playing with programming.. Right Class???

I'll bet you're not using a Motorola cable and RIB either, are you?
