Convert mic/earbud from A/S to work with Jedi series?

Convert mic/earbud from A/S to work with Jedi series?

I've got a mic and earbud setup for my Astro Saber that I'd like to use on my MT2000 or HT1000. Is there anything special needs to be done or changed (zener diode, resistors, etc) and is the pinout Sp+, Sp-, etc., the same?
