CDM1250 Low Band won't power up

Post by NSPD »

I can't pretend to be any kind of expert on the CDM series radios, but I have a small collection of them now, including a 42-50 split CDM1250 that I can't get to power on. I suspect the that internal fuse is blown, but I don't have the knowledge to test it. Additionally, I can't get the case apart either, none of the screws will budge at all. The two tabs (on the radio frame) that physically hold the head of the radio are broken off, so it needs a new frame also.

I have tried hooking the power cable up, hooking an ignition sense cable up, and still get no power.

Anyone have any ideas or know where I can get it repaired fairly cheap?

Thanks!
Jake
