Wireless Speakers

Hello all
I need to know if it is possible to utilize wireless speaker technology on a fire statio base radio. What we have is a Motorola XTL-5000 mobile radio with a power supply, and we would like to configure as many as 6 speakers wirelessly. Is such technology available? If so, who would be a good source for this?
