GP 328 4 to 16 channel conversion
Hi. Can anyone help me with how to change my 4 channel 328 to 16 channel please. I've seen this mentioned elsewhere on the forum, but the focus was more on changing frequency coverage. Thanks.

I do not know the exact difference between these models, except channel selector, so you must discover it first.
Here is common method for model changing for Waris platform radios. You make it on own risk.
Get "Firmware Upgrade Kit XX.XX.XX with Codeplug XX.XX", version which is higher than at your radio.
You don't need the latest, because it left you some room for mistakes.
Install it on computer, find directory whith installed program(for example - "working") and move all codeplug files to
another directory( for example - "code"). Find in "code" directory codeplug for GP328/16ch and copy it back to
"working" directory and rename it with name of codeplug for GP328/4ch. Be carefull with last letter of Tanapa
number - it is hardware revision.
Upgrade radio , and you get what what you want.

Thanks very much for your response and advice. I have absolutely no idea where to find a firmware upgrade kit. But when I do I'll try those steps. Thanks again.
