L1548A TONE REMOTE ADAPTER QUESTION

Post by KE9GK »

Hello Board,

Wondering if anyone can tell me what the SWA dip switch functions are. I have the panel functioning, but I need it to pass some 2 tones that are close to the 1200Hz region and it seems to be "filtering" out. Without a manual I'm sorta SOL on this one!

Also, I have heard that these things can be configured for 2 channel operation. Can anyone shed some light on that as well?

Thanks

Don

I have several of these remotes on the shelf at work, I'll read the manual and post the results this weekend for you.

Disclaimer: I can only 'hope' to have the time to research the information, but workload may postpone this until later in the week(or I am not on a service call this weekend).

If it's anything like the TNA200, you'll want to flip Switch #2 (on SW2) to the "down" position. This lets all tones through, including the guard tones.
