XTS 2500

Post by MFR401 »

I have a few questions regarding the XTS 2500..

can this radio run trunked and convention at the same time or trunked only..

my agency runs 453 conventional analog can they also make a bank that is trunked????

second we use to have unit id mdc signalling.. when the new radios key up there is no mdc..can a radio number still be put over the air in silent mode???...we use to have the mandown signalling as well if we do not have the mdc enabled does the mandown feature still work????

thanks

If it was ordered with a trunking package, it can do both. If not, it's conventional only.

Again, if it was ordered with the MDC signalling option, then it'll work. If not, mandown won't work.

What is the flashcode of the radios? This will tell us what features are in the radio. It's a 13-digit number which should be on a label on the back of the radio. The good news is the desired features can be added (at a cost, of course) via FLASHport upgrade through Motorola.
