Question on clarification of cable for Astro Spectra

Post by kcan146 »

Hello all,

I need some clarification on which cable is the proper one for a remote Astro Spectra radio, high power with A4 head.
Which cable do I need to program this, the high power spectra cable or the regular Astro Spectra cable.

Thanks for your help.

You need the "Hi power" cable. I has the DB25 connectors on each end, plugs into the Radio chassis second DB25 jack.

Easy to make, http://batlabs.com/images/spechi.gif

Thanks,
Just so I am clear this does use the Astro Spectra software and not the Spectra software?

Yes, you would use the Astro RSS for the Astro Spectra. Use the start command for the mobile, astmob IIRC....
