VHF SPECTRA HELP

when connected to power this radio will not power up. Recently purchased via e-bay. Is there an ignition mod like on the maxtracs?? Any help will be appreciated.

What model is it a dash mount or remote? Dash mount needs the db15 connector in the back with an speaker and ignition plug. The remote needs power to the orange and green..

This is a dash mount. I see the 15 pin conn but where does it connect to??

Here is the 15 pin connector wiring. You need the EMERG jumper, SPKR and IGN leads. Make sure you fuse the IGN lead at 1 amps.

Connects to the back of the radio. The chassis has a bright metal clip to retain the 15 pin ACCY connector.

If you need the connector I have one with the speaker leads. You know there is no internal speaker on a spectra. I have an extra speaker also.

What do you want for the connector??? I might have a speaker I need to look.
