Maxtrac/Radius mobile POST error

I get a 5 second error tone on power up......does anyone know what that is?

5 seconds@163 Hz on powerup=codeplug error. Try to reprogram codeplug. If this fails to clear problem, replace logic board.

If the radio is working fine after the tone finishes, it quite often indicates someone was messing with the radio with the "service alignment" screens in the RSS, and did not exit the software properly before disconnecting the radio. Often you can clear it by going into the service alignment, viewing a value such as TX Power, doing a save, then exiting back out to the main menu. Then try disconnecting the programming cable & rebooting the radio...the tone is generally gone.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.
