I Buggerd My GM950Plus Please Help!

gday all, i wanted to drop the RFoutput on my vhf gm950 plus this morning and something happend we are unsure of what that may be , but the radio writes ok , but when read it will say the invalid checksum in the radio data. the three leds red yellow green all light up in a row liek red yellow green yellow red and back and forth . there is also a error displayed on the LCD 516 .. any help in fixing this radio would be greatly appreciated as this is the only vhf radio i have to use . cheers to all who take the time to read this post and can help me.
