XTS 5000 ADP Software Programming

Hello,

I need help please as I am a novice when it comes to software ADP encryption. Could someone list step by step on how to program the ADP encryption using the CPS for the XTS 5000. I need to know how to load the keys, what menu or menus do I need to use in the CPS to activate it per channel/zone. How do I configure the top switch for clear or encrypted mode. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Start by reading the CPS help file under the topic of ADP. It gives pretty comprehensive instructions. At that point, if you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask. Sometimes the best way to learn is to start playing around with it and see what happens.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was able to program all of the XTS5000s that are in my fleet after I read the help file. This was my first time using software defined encryption with the radio, not to bad at all.
