Mode Steering XTL1500/2500

Post by Mikey »

Can the New XTL Series Radio be Mode Steered? And if so how ? I am stumped as i look through the CPS and try and figure out how. Looking at Hooking the mobile up to a tone remote adapter and mode steering channels through the console.

I am wondering the same thing as I have heard both yes and no from different people. I now have a need to do this exact topic with a XTL 2500

Yes they can be mode changed. However, you have a limitation on how many modes can be used.

The "consolette" base station uses an XTL mobile in it. It can be controlled over 8 modes using tone remote
control if it was ordered that way.

I guess the best question here is just what are you trying to do? Maybe some more info and facts can
help generate some good suggestions.
