xts-2500 alignment

xts-2500 alignment

I am tasked with writing an automated alignment for the xts-2500. has all the legwork already been done on this? I know general dynamics can automate the alignment, but I can not find the information.
Am i going to be forced to sit down with a serial sniffer to emulate the tuner? All I have been handed is a document which explains XCMP, and a few examples.

For anybody who may be intrested in what test equipment I will be using...
Will be written for the Test Executive software on an ATS-2000 (ATACTS) from DME Corp
