I was wondering if I can change out a Logic board from a Maxtrac. (IE; would it be possible to replace a 5 Pin Logic Board with a 16 Pin Logic board?) Any help appreciated.

Yes you can.
However I might ask why you want to go to that effort. Unless you need some special output from the
radio via the rear pins, you won't gain much.

They assume you have a blank board to start with. For that you will need to have Maxtrac LAB RSS, or a friend with it. You can find a great page on all of the above here.

I will gain much. I'll gain a repeater for the cost of two used 16 Pin logic boards.

You do not need a "16 pin logic" board to use a Maxtrc as a transmitter in a repeater.
The TX connections are available in the mic jack.

If all your trying to do is build a cheap, simple repeater, stay with what you have. Don't spend
the extra money.
Like Will says, all the lines and signals you need are available at the mic connector.
On the other hand if your hell bent for a 16 pin board, spend your money. You won't gain anything
in the application you have presented us with.
Just remember that you will need a duplexer to provide the isolation between your TX, RX and the
antenna. The magic number should be someplace in the 70 plus db range.
