Saber III Error 1 05

Post by ODEM5 »

Was trying program my radio earlier and came up with a error code "ERR 1 05". Anyone got any recommendations, other than using the saber as a paper weight?

Can the radio be read and write now?
If it can, you will try to build a new codeplug, and rewrite to the radio.

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

First, did you save a copy of the codeplug before reprogramming?
Second, are you using pure DOS not through Windows?

Your error appears to be both an internal EEPROM checksum error (error 1 01) and an external EEPROM checksum error (error 1 04) of the COPE microprocessor.

Answering to both folks that replied.

No, the radio will not program. It says that there is a serial bus error

---------------

I did save the original codeplug, and will run in pure dos. I was using windows previously. However it may not take, as whenever I try to read or write, it says there was a serial bus error
