MARATRAC Parts Needed

Post by w1ksz »

I have a 10 Meter Maratrac that some deluded creature transmitted into. Two of the input caps
were mere remnants of their former selves and part of the PC traces were evaporated.

I fixed that damage, but the sensitivity is still akin to a stone. Possibly Q1 got fried from the
overload. The House Number is M82D44. Where can I get a couple of these or is there a cross
to a generic device ?

Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ

There are two diodes before the transistor for overload protection, one of them may be 'fried'.
I should be able to get the 48-80182D44 transistor from /\/\, the same one is used in UHF Maxtrac, Radius and Maratracs.

I saw those diodes, they are in an SMD package. Can you get those also ?
