I am programming a MT2000 for someone and they are telling me with utmost certainty that the PL code for two of their channels is "100.3". This, of course, is an invalid value but this person told me this value can be overridden in RSS. I tried different versions of RSS and depot without success (R06.00.00, R06.04.00, R06.07.00 and Depot R02.00.0). I confirmed with this person twice already that this is indeed the PL that they need.
Any thoughts or suggestions??
The frequencies they gave me that use this PL are: 460.225 and 460.300 and they are in the Oak Ridge, TN area.
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Invalid PL
Some Motorola radio software packages allow the entry of non-standard PL. Most don't, and the MTSX software falls into the latter catagory. However, programming it with the standard PL of 100.0 will give proper operation...the radio can't distiguish 0.3 Hz.tdc4125 wrote:I am programming a MT2000 for someone and they are telling me with utmost certainty that the PL code for two of their channels is "100.3". Todd is right.
Those frequencies are for the Anderson County Sheriff's Dept, and they are 100.0
