Radius M216 no power

Post by Andy2712 »

I have several M216's I pulled out of service last year and recently when I went to use them again they are not powering up. They were all in good working order when I removed them from service. I have tried jumping the ignition sense and having the ignition sensing hooked up. Any one have any thoughts or ideas?

Since you have multiple previously good radios, the only thing that makes sense to me is that you may not be using the correct ignition pin. It's pin 10, which when looking at the rear of the radio is the top row, 5th pin from the left.

There is a small green (usually) pico-fuse on the controller board which when present allows the radio to power up without ignition.
