XTS Purchasing Help

Post by jbrian »

Hello all, I am new to the XTS world and looking to upgrade. I have used Motorola products for years and looking to purchase a XTS model radio. Currently I only need conventional analog operation. Locally the county is planning to upgrade to T-Band in the near future. I understand that the XTS5000 is the flagship portable. What are the disadvantages of the 2500 series. What key codes would I need for conventional analog operation? I definately want a portable that is digital and P25 capable. I tried reviewing Motorola’s site and could find no information on the XTS3000 series, is this an option? Any input would be greatly appreciated prior to making an investment into a new piece of equipment. Thanks Justin

The XTS3000/3500 are discontinued products.

You wouldn't happen to be Montgomery or PG county by any chance?
