gp300 16 channels converting to dtmf

hi, I have a gp300 16 channels without dtmf, I aslo have empty case of a gp300 with dtmf, is it possble convert my gp300 to dtmf option.

Yes, change the case and program channels for DTMF.

Do you mean that I need to change the setting for "PHONE Signaling System" when programming the channel?
If so, that function is not enabled is the software. How to do I do that?

If it is something totally different that I need to do, can you please be more specific as to what needs to be done.

ok depending on your software and if both radios are the same band you can just read the dtmf radio then write that codeplug to the other radio and you'll be set. you may have to re tune the new radio

I got the RSS version R7.00.00 and I got only tha DTMF radio case.

GP300 with keypad is "GP300 Select V" model which is also have DTMF function via keypad. I have one. If you mean this then you can not convert "GP300" to "GP300 Select V" because they have different microprocessors.

On the other hand, regular 16 Ch GP300 model has also DTMF function. In the software, go to "CHANGE/VIEW CODEPLUG MENU" press F7 for "SIGNALLING SYSTEM Configration" then press F8 and select with up and down keys to add DTMF System(may be attached it to TX in channel menu) or DTMF/PHONE System (may be attached to side buttons). Hope it will help you.
