Info needed on dual 1/4 inch jack recepticle for headsets
Looking for info on source and part number for the dual 1/4 inch receptacle and box used on consoles
for the headset connection. Have seen a number of different references to W210, P10 and 2250
connections. Need to find a source of a number of the receptacle box packages.

Do you need just the jacks, or a complete headset box?
I have used these before and mounted them in a Hammond diecast aluminum box

So which jack is it actually? The MT-JAX? Those blocks can include or not include the jacks. Looking for the same thing here for a project. I've got the plantronics headset and PTT adapter just gotta interface it into my audio selection panel. Thanks!!

What's the part number for the active part of the headset (where PTT is)?
Re: Info needed on dual 1/4 inch jack recepticle for headsets
Plantronics SHS1890-15 the next line on the tag has 0299 not sure if that's part of the number or not. It's marked a StarSet series. Has 2 jacks on it with 3 conductors per jack. The look like older military style audio connectors but I don't know for sure. Thanks for any info!!!

I've got one of the SHS 1890-15 headset kits, and my boss wants to wire this directly to his personal mobile radio. Anyone have the pinout for the 2-prong plug? I don't have a Telex adapter panel to go with this one- the boss sold the last one we had in stock- but I can get the Switchcraft receptacle.

Found the MT-JAX and such at Mouser, Digi-Key, and Newark. Testing shows the pinout as:
Tip 1: Tx+
Ring 1: PTT
Sleeve 1: Rx+
Tip 2: Tx-
Ring 2: GND
Sleeve 2: RX-
This way, you can plug the Jax in either direction and it will work. It looks like these are being discontinued, however.
