Post by dss »

i have the spectra console with no control head and board under the radio TRN7391A. i have the spectra console with the a7 head and board under the radio TLN3207A. i have the telephone interconnect motorola L1159A, from this unit wires with differen colors are coming out, i counted them 11. the question is: which console of the two will take the telephone interconnect. which color is going in which hole of the DB25 J2 on the back of the console.

The L1159A was Motorola's first microprocessor base interconnect [MRTI] introduced over 25 years ago .

It was manufactured for Motorola by Instrument Associates.

I wouldn't have a clue as to how to interface and configure one of those without a manual. Finding a manual won't be easy since support for the product ended years ago. Maybe watch for one to show up on ebay.

I don't need a manual for the MRTI, but it is good to hear that you found one and solved your issue.
