HT1250 QCII Alerting

HT1250 QCII Alerting

I have two different HT1250's, Both alert differently when QCII calls are received. One Alerts as soon as the second tone is detected, similar to a Minitor Pager; Firmware 5.13.09. The other radio Alerts as soon as the second tone is finished transmitting. Using the standard alert tone, this causes the first second or two of the transmission to be cut off; Firmware 5.09.06

Was this a change in firmware versions, or is there a setting in the CPS that I'm over looking?

It sounds like the firmware issue that was corrected somewhere around 5.09.11. I have had several from a local factory with that exact trouble and the upgrade in firmware corrected it. There may have been an SRN about it but I can't located it right now.
