Hello,
You need to set Rx and Tx radio's I/O pins manually as below regarding R.I.C.K connection.
Receiver Radio:
Pin 8 --> PL/DPL DEDECT (LOW)

Only below pins are necessary for Rx radio:
Pin 8: DP/PL Dedect (manually)
Pin 11: Discriminator Audio (default)
Pin 7: Ground (default)
Pin 10: Ignition (default for GM950 and GM350 radios)

Transmitter Radio:
Pin 3 --> PTT(voice)

Only below pins are necessary for Tx radio:
Pin 3: PTT (manually)
Pin 2: Mic Audio (default)
Pin 7: Ground (deafult)
Pin 10: Ignition (default for GM950 and GM350 radios)

It is necessary to connect both Rx and Tx radios pins 10 (ignition) to the +13.8V DC directly. By this way, radios will be turned on automatically by themselfs if you disconnect power supply and connect back (preventing power cuts at the repeater station). If you are using standard R.I.C.K cable then you must cut pin 10 wires for both Rx and Tx cable at the R.I.C.K side and connect them together to the positive output of the power supply.

You will find schematic and more information about R.I.C.K in Batlabs website: http://www.batlabs.com/rick.html

PS: If repeater's transmitter audio is low then adjust trimpot near R25 resistor on the R.I.C.K board. If it is still not enough then decrease R25 resistor value. I had a problem like that when I was using GM series mobiles.
