Ht1250 will not receive

Post by redneck_1086 »

My ht1250 will not receive when its on my extender channel. The radio does receive on other channels which leads me to believe that the rx freq. was programmed in wrong, but the led status light turns red and the antenna flashes up w/ full bars when the radio is receiving from the extender, it just doesn have any traffic that comes thru the speaker. What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Aaron

Sounds like the PL or DPL is set wrong for that channel.

If one of the side buttons are setup for monitor, while receiving your extender press the monitor button and see if you can hear.

Yes, although reprogramming with the proper tone would be preferable & possibly even necessary depending on if the frequency is being used in other parts of your system.
