GP300 battery schematic

Post by stuckinthemud »

Can anyone supply a schematic of a GP300 battery?

I'm after details of exactly what is connected to the four bottom charging points.

Background is I need to capacity-test a number of batteries on an analyser, and wondering if the easiest way of making a connection adapter is to cannibalise an old charger base and discharge through the base connectors, but only if I can find out what's wired internally (i.e. if any are directly wired to the main pads).

I don't have any duff packs (yet!) to rip open, otherwise that would be the easy way!

Would this help?

There is a diode, so the best option is to find a old radio body as I did.
I connected this to a Robitronic Overloader 2 -charger from the R/C world just to find out we have a few duff packs that need to be renewed.

Hope this helps, Martin

Thanks, that link must have been hiding somewhere as I'd had a good look through the site!

Pity about the diode, I'll do as you suggest and hunt for an old radio.
