Spectra remote head questions

Hello, I have a couple of questions about installing a Spectra remote head.

My present setup is a VHF and a UHF spectra high powers. Two separate heads, and two drawers.

This install is on a boat, we just finished our aft cabin and I want to put remote heads in the new cabin run off the existing drawers.

Do the new heads have to be the same as the old ones? I am running A5s. Is there any kind of intercom or PA feature I can use to speak with crew in the rear cabin?

I did some programming changes a long time ago on a fire truck with a dual 9000 head setup, and if I recall it's pretty strait forward, program the radio with the front head only and then again for the rear head. Is the procedure still the same with A5 heads?

On a spectra the only factory dual head setup is with A9s.

AND the front head and rear head are different beasts.
