What radios do you own?: 1-Yeasu FT101 ZD,

I have recently acquired an older commercial unit which I want to use on packet and uiview. I am having troubles identifying it. The model # is CL43BBB-1190B. Can anyone give me any help on this

Should be a Canadian Mocom 70 VHF consolette base. You'll need more than crystals to get it going, you also need to do a complete alignment. This is not a broadband radio. Same deal on the Mocom 35. You can get crystals from International Crystal in Oklahoma City, but they are not cheap, about $ 20 each.

The CL43BBB is a Consolete desktop VHF station and has a mid power VHF Mocom 70 radio in it.

From the model number, the radio is carrier squelch.
Yes you will probably have the realign the radio when changing frequency more than a couple of mHz.

Crystals for the channel elements are available from International Crystal and Bomar Crystals.
