HT1250 Cloning

Post by psapengineer »

Hi,

In general, can you clone a limited keypad version HT1250 to a full keypad version or does the software determine that they are two incompatible radios?

Thanks in advance, Bob

The CPS will determine that the two have different model numbers and will not let you write the codeplug to the clone target.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

you can clone full to limited or limited to full with those radios. there isn't a clone option so all you have to do is click to write it to the radio. your only problem will be if you have any passwords set the limited keypad won't be able to unlock so turn that part off.
