Serial Bus I/O...

Post by mmirrah »

So, being brand new to this board, I hope someone will help.

As I can't afford CPS, I am stuck on an older version of Rss 05.03.00 (spectra)

Well, as of a year ago this software worked 100%. No problem in DOS, but now I went to run a com test for my software on COM 1, and got "Serial Bus Failure: Power Fault"
I have checked all of my port settings, reset defaults....

This is not limited to my Spectra Software, every rss except my astro rss is acting up.....

You say no problem in DOS. Are you trying to run the RSS under a true DOS or in a windows
operating system? The Spectra software needs to be run only in true DOS mode. Need a DOS
boot disc and then manually go to the Spectra directory and start the RSS.
