Drag & Drop between MTS2000 to XTS3000/Astro Saber

Now im sure ive done this in the past at my old workplace, but im unable to reproduce it

can you drag and drop between codeplugs?

if so, can you drag and drop between different radios

I have done drag and drop from XTS3000/AS to MTS2000 CPS in the same bandsplit with no problems. Some features that are not present in analog radios obviously are not copied over but it worked fine. Never tried it with Astro 25 CPS though.

yeah i dont think it can be done MTS to AS/XTS

its taking me quite a while to write a profile from scractch

I just tried MTS/MCS to Astro Saber/Astro Spectra/XTS3000 and XTS5000/XTL*. There's not an exact 1:1 correspondence, so you'll have to clean some things up, but as far as the bulk of your personalities, yes, it should carry it over with no problem.

Akardam, could you explain how? i know drag and drop should be a matter of dragging from one cps to the other but when i go to drop it it doesnt let me

What version of MTS CPS are you using? I believe you need 2.00.00 or greater for the drag & drop to Astro/25 CPS to work. Otherwise, you need to make sure both CPS are pointed to the appropriate system key(s) and you should be good to go.

ok im using MTS2000 2.0.0.1 and Astro R04.01.04. Same system key on both CPS. still no luck! *Rips out hair*

Time to upgrade, works no problem between MTS CPS R02.02 and AS/XTS3K CPS R05.03 (both current versions AFAIK)
