Invalid Checksum on Unpack from Data Source

Post by NSPD »

I am having an interesting problem while attempting to program a Saber SI (I know.. please spare me the "get another radio" speech).

I have created default codeplugs for 403-470 and 136-178 radios, and I am able to successfully save both versions of the codeplug. However, upon reading the files with either Saber SI version B09.01.00 or B09.02.00, I get the message "Invalid Checksum on Unpack from Data Source", "Ok or "Cancel". Upon selecting "ok", the file loads as normal. I can edit and save the file, but upon saving and re-opening the file, I still get the checksum message.

My goal is to move this radio down to 403-470, and I am trying to get the software-side straightened out. Will this error cause a fail code in the radio if I write to it?

Thanks for any insight!
Jake
