CDM Microphone
I want to be able to use a Motorola Spectra sytle microphone on a CDM1250. Does anyone have a schematic on how I can make this work by changing the jack on the end or taking a CDM Mic cord and attaching it to the Spectra Mic Head... or know of any other simple solution?
Re: CDM Microphone
I guess I'd have to ask "Why?". If you simply prefer the weight & feel of the Spectra mic, just purchase the heavy-duty Maxtrac style mic, part# HMN1035...it's essentially the same as the HMN1080 Spectra mic, apart from the cord.

No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Re: CDM Microphone
Size and weight size about the same, but internally they're different... I believe the 1035 circuitry is similar to the hmn1056.wavetar wrote:I guess I'd have to ask "Why?". One difference is going to be the hang up, with a 1080 you'll need to use a grounded mic hook.
