I have a 403-470 CDM 1250 that displays "EEPROM CS ERROR" on the display when I power up the unit. When I try to read the radio using the CPS a message appears that says "Image is corrupted. Checksum for R/W Region failed"
I am guessing this is an EEPROM problem but am not sure. Can anyone advise if this is something that can be easily fixed?
Thanks .... Mike

Re: CDM 1250 EEPROM Error
With the issue itself being as old as it is, I did want to add that the latest version of Pro Series CPS has a repair tool that will fix some of the EEPROM errors. The errors that I personally know it won't fix are model number corruption errors.
The latest version at this time is 6.11.05
