Astro Spectra command board jumpers for non-RS232 operation

Post by motorola_otaku »

While flipping through the Astro Spectra detailed service manual I stumbled across this table for moving jumpers around on the command board to enable non-RS232 operation from the DB15 accessory connector. It's been discussed before, but I can't find the thread and I don't think the exact jumper positions got posted anyway, so here you go:

Do you have a layout of where these jumpers are located on the Command Board?

Ya, I have no clue where these jumper positions are and I'm in need of moving some of these pins around.

Any luck on a layout of the jumper positions?

There are a few jumper locations that vary depending on the revision of the board. Check the detailed service manual for the component layout or let us know what part number and someone here can help you out.

Did you ever get the layout of the board for this? I need to put 5 astro spectras in a new dispatch center.

This took me all of 15 minutes with the Detailed Service Manual. Surely y'all aren't completely helpless? ;p
