I need help with MDC Message and Status On a ht1550

How can I send a message to other radios like (All is ok) or code 4 by pressing a button on the radio and all other radios can see the message

I think it has to do with somthing in the MDC Status ?

That can only be encoded to portables and mobiles in a counsole, like a CDM-1550 LS+ or greater. however, if you want to send from a HT1550 you can, but it will only be decoded by a CDM1550 LS+, or greater.
