antenna adapter, HT750,GP300

Well, my trusty antenna adapter broke and I just paid C$26.00 for one from Mother M. I know that there are probably cheaper ones on EBay, but I am very leery about purchasing them. Has anybody have any experience with them, good bad or indifferent?
