MCS2000 RSS issue

Post by smokeybehr »

I've got RSS v 5.04.00, and when I read my VHF Mod3 MCS2k, it acts normal, but when I go to read the codeplug, it tells me that there's no codeplug in memory. Could this radio have been programmed with CPS and the RSS just doesn't know what to do with it? I don't even get a "Codeplug too new" message.
No, I will not fix your computer. Call back during NORMAL business hours.

I just got done with those problems also. When i tried using RSS it would either say Codeplug Too New, or it would say no codeplug in memory.

I would hit read the radio, it would look like it was reading, and then it would either give me the codeplug too new error or it would look like it completed the read cycle. If it looked like it completed the read cycle and i tried to click on anything then it would say no codeplug in memory.

So my best guess is your going to have to try CPS instead.
