Ht1250 Motorola Radio Question

Ht1250 Motorola Radio Question

Not sure where to ask this question. this appears to be the most logical place.

If you write to a HT1250LS+ using a different "Option Board" then the one installed in the radio, will that
cause the radio not to read or write. Is there a way to write another codeplug in to the radio with the correct
Option Board?
