MSF5000 CXB LLGT Notch Filter Adjustment

Post by ke4zdg »

Hey folks,

I just connected a tone remote to my MSF5000 and got it working. However, when I TX via wireline from the tone remote, it screeches the LLGT out the TX. On the CLBs, I know there is an adjustment pot to set the notch freq, but I can't seem to find its counterpart in a CXB TTRC board.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jared

This post really belongs in the System Infrastructure forum, but thats no big.

Are you sure the notch filters are even enabled? I've never had to make any adjustments to these filters, and on a CXB station if you had to adjust them (and that was even an option), you'd do it in the F1 service menu of RSS, and it would be an EEPOT. I don't recall off the top of my head if thats an option or not.

You might want to make sure the notch filters are turned on. Buried somewhere in the programming screens for the codeplug is the option for this.
