Would anyone know why a P110(P43QLC20B2AA) 8 ch. VHF Portable will not open up with P110, or GP350 SW? All others read and write with no problem. I am told these radios may be European models and cannot be read with US SW.

Perhaps you need a later version of software?I'm not sure what the latest RSS version for P110 is, but we use 8.00.00 with no problems. This is for P110's only, not the combo P110/GP300 that earlier versions were. The GP350 RSS will not do P110's at all, assuming it's an actual P110 board in the radio.

I have found some people trade gp300
radios and mount them in p110 cases.
Check the gp300 rss. Good luck. Raymond

The answer to your problem may lie in the fact that the earlier versions of P110 RSS worked on P110's and GP300's, but the latest version of GP300 RSS works only on GP300's and GP350's. It says specifically that it will NOT work on P110's.

Isn't it a P110 with a selective call board, for that kind of radio there's a separate RSS.
