Does anyone know where i can find the 1/8 "threaded" plug that you plug in to the outlet on the top of the radio.

Do you mean the antenna connector adapter? If the adapter, that is an "inverted" SMA type connector to BNC cable. You can get them from a Motorola shop or communications wholesalers like Tessco, if you have an account with them. My manual shows the part number as 5880348B33 but it is an older manual and the number may have changed.

What i need is the one for the audio out on top of the radio for using a ear phone,

it's like a regular 1/8 ear phone plug, except that it has threads at the base of it,

I have checked all the usual places i buy connectors from but i can't find it.
