Motorola Waris programming cable id help needed please??

Post by kotaguchi »

I got a bunch of Motorola OEM programming cables from my source in Asia and I got what appears to be a Motorola programming cable of some sort.

It had a Waris Professional Series connector.

I tried using it to program a HT1250 and I get errors so I am not sure what this cable is for??

What exactly does this cable do??

Is it some sort of Professional series Data cable???

Here is a pic of the cable:

The original tag was ripped off that likely had the part not for the cable.

But see the close up pic of the pin out I took.

Edit:I believe the cable kit no is "MOTOROLA HKN9743A MAP27 DATA CABLE"??

Thanks,

This looks as RKN4075 RIBless programming cable. Connect it directly to serial port and try again.

Thanks for all the info.

I sold the cable...

I have other Motorla oem cables so it was not that important.I use a Motorola oem Waris programming/test cable to program my Professional series portables.
